Agile Team Training Course

Agile Team Training is focused on getting everyone who is (or will be) on the team up-and-running with agile. Agile Team Training is designed for teams that are transitioning to agile, have already started without training, or need a refresher to reinvigorate the teams.

Agility and agile are about thinking in a different ways than many of us have learned or been rewarded for in our careers.Exploring how and why agile is different is an important aspect of the training and helps improve success with agile. We cover agile practices and the most important aspect of agile, principles, which help drive success. Agile also exposes challenges and constraints quickly, so an important part of agile is learning how to deal with these issues. We cover these concepts so you know what to expect and how to tackle the challenges.

Learning Approach

  • Agile Team Training uses team-based exercises and discussions to learn agile concepts and principles.
  • Expect to get involved throughout the course with hands-on exercises, discussions, lecture (have to do a bit!), and both team and individual work.
  • We use an agile simulation using Lego™ to engage everyone in learning agile by doing agile.
  • Engage with, move around, and interact with other attendees and the trainer to ask questions about challenging issues.
  • Training is based on multiple levels of interaction to provide the most valuable learning and retention.
  • Agile Team Training is hands-on and interactive with zero slides.
  • Our training process starts before class with some light reading assignments to level-set and get everyone exposed to agile ideas.  We also provide you with a number of key books on agile and lean to get your Agile Library started!
